The Mid-Atlantic Cake Show and Wedding Cake Competition 2007. The theme this year was Something old something new something borrowed & something blue. The blue stripes were alternated with plain and grossgrain. The next tier up had daisies made of royal icing. The separator is made to look like a garter. The second tier down I put bouquets made of roses and daisies with fondant bows. The top separator was done in blue fondant rolled with a ribbed rolling pin. I attached pearls to dangle from the top tier. The top tier had an edible monogram with gumpaste roses and some piped lace.
